Fantastic week staying at this unique property. We had high hopes for amazing views and pleased to say we were not disappointed. The property was of a very high standard and equipped with everything we needed. Excellent standard throughout. Beds comfortable with quality linen.

The property is amazing! Wonderful sea views to all directions. Finished with a high spec. It has everything you could possibly need - will definitely come again. If you love boats you will love it as at least 100 boats pass by the house every day including military boats and submarines - so many things to watch. Was really, really lovely.

Wow! We have just returned from a week’s break at the Old Signal House and thought it was wonderful. The house is great, it is very modern inside, decorated and furnished to a high standard and very clean. It was really comfortable with plenty of room. The views of the sea are truly amazing, we spent lots of time enjoying seeing the boats passing by. It really felt a special place. There are lots of steps down to the house, so you need to be able to manage these physically, but these are through a lovely wooded area, and the effort is totally worth it to be able to stay in such a nice place. Small Children and dogs would have to be supervised due to the proximity of the house to the Cliff edges but the house did have an enclosed fenced area around a patio facing the sea, with a small gate. The owner was very happy to answer any questions and communicated well. Truly a hidden gem. We were certainly not disappointed and look forward to returning. Would definitely recommend.

We spent a lovely week here. The house was everything we expected, the decor and layout of the building are great, the photos on the site are an excellent representation. We stayed with our three grown-up children and split one of the double beds into two singles which worked for us. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and shower (bath/shower with the main bedroom). The layout has the three bedrooms and living room on the upper floor, with views out of every window. The kitchen and dining room are downstairs.
Location is secluded and the house reached a via a mile long road from the village of Cawsand - plenty of places to eat and drink - recommend the Devonport Inn - but book ahead. Views from the house across Plymouth Sound are beautiful and if you are lucky to wake up for a sunrise it is worth it.
The accommodation is reached by going down about 80 steps from the car park, so suggest you pack light or in bags that can be easily transported. This was not a problem for us and we would definitely return for a second visit.
